Are we too busy to live?

What do we take and give?

Is each day filled with joy?

Or is it busy and coy?

Running here and there

when do we stop to care?

Frantic lives of motion

as if that was the notion.

Can we slow down our lives?

How would that life jive?

Breathing fresh air and flowers

I could do that for hours.

I hope you are not to busy to live

I’m gonna rest so I can continue to give

I can feel my spirit rise when I read them.

I am greatful to all those who have flowed them into our language and time.
